In going through my closet the other day, I took note of just how many leopard print pieces I own. I was actually astonished. It's no secret that I love a good leopard print, but my goodness! I think I need an intervention.

Rachel Zoe says that it takes courage to wear leopard. I guess I agree with that to a certain extent, but then again, I consider myself to be pretty shy.

On another unrelated note, I am enjoying my jumbo flap with full gusto. I am very careful about what I put in it, for fear of pens leaking, lipgloss spilling, or dirty change floating around. Paranoid much? Absolutely, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. But I am loving it!

Although I have room in my bag to store more things, I find that this is all I need. I carry everything in my cheapie totes and other bags from H&M and Aldo, but I stay streamlined with my Chanel. Funny how that works.

What's in My Purse Now?

When I first started my blog, I was obsessed with the beauty girls on YouTube. I still am by the way, but I remember watching those gurus and being totally amused by the "what's in my purse" videos. I've always been really nosey, and I love snooping in my friends' bags, closets, and makeup drawers (with their consent of course!) I posted a Purse Blog the second month I started blogging and I thought it was a really fun post. So because I am madly in love with my new H&M bag, I figured I would do an updated version. Nothing too exciting once again, but I have learned one very important thing about myself: I love lip products, and I carry far too many around with me.

♥ Such a nice bag in a pretty color. And roomy too! It comes with a shoulder strap but I detached it because for some odd reason I like carrying my bags on my elbow ♥

Just the essentials. Wallet, sunglasses inside their case, keys, mini MAC rose pouch I use to hold my cards, a notebook with pen to write my life down, makeup bag, mini lotion, and hand sanitizer. I normally carry my phone as well, but it was charging at the moment.

Why? Why does one person need so many tubes of lipgloss and lipstick? It isn't even a makeup bag, it's a lip bag! Noted.

I have always wanted to do one of these: What's in my purse?

Nothing too exciting, but let's take a peek!

This purse is so roomy. I love the caramel color too, very cute for summer. I actually bought it at Old Navy for twenty dollars!

Here is my purple wallet from Forever 21, a pair of earrings that I wear a lot, a couple of gold bracelets, and my keys.


I love to read, and Burned is my newest novel for summer. I also carry my checkbook and a movie stub from seeing "Funny People" this past weekend with my boyfriend. I used to collect all the stubs from our date nights, but there were just too many to save so I have since stopped doing that.


Here is my makeup bag from MAC's Graphic Garden collection. I love the print! Although the white rose bag from the other brush set was a bit cuter in my opinion ;) I also have a body spray from V.S. and their moisture salve that I raved about in a previous blog.
