One of the best parts of blogging is avidly following other blogs. If Beautygirl24 didn't exist, I'd still spend my leisure time reading other blogs. There are just so many of you that I admire. One of my favorites and one I've mentioned numerous times on here is Veronika's Blushing. Her style is so polished! Plus, she seems like a sweetheart. When I saw her in this little pink dress, I knew I had to find one for myself! It's the perfect neon number that looks effortless and not at all like you're being overtaken by the trend. I went to my H&M, but they were all out of the pink. In fact, they were all out of my size in every color! They did have this black and white palm print option, and although I was hesitant at first, I snagged it in the XS and brought it home. I'm so glad that I did because it fits like a glove! I love the fitted top and the flowy bottom. I know I'm going to wear the heck out it (I've already worn it twice!)
I'm still determined to get it in the neon pink, but I'll have to hunt for it at another H&M location. Wish me luck!

Neon peach tee - Zara, Jeans - Banana Republic, Sandals - Target, Necklace - H&M (old, but similar here), Ring - YSL, Bag - Kate Spade (similar), Nails - Essie "A crewed interest"

Mint tee - H&M (recent and comes in other colors)

There is nothing more simple than a t-shirt and jeans. I used to go for basic white, but lately, I'm loving the basic tee in candy colors. Mint is great and makes you look tan! And neon peach looks gorgeous with turquoise! The look is casual and laid-back. Perfect for lazy weekends, running errands, and going to the beach.
Who needs real candy?

I headed to the only Nordstrom in my area that carries Burberry cosmetics. In fact, apparently there are only 10 cities in the nation that carry them (otherwise they are available online HERE).  After reading so many wonderful things about the brand's eyeshadows, I was literally itching to give at least one a try. Of course, I can almost never buy just one of anything these days so I bought two. Oh yeah, I'm a rebel.

The packaging looks and feels extremely luxurious. Being that it is Burberry after all, I wouldn't expect anything less. Each shadow comes with a velvet pouch, a bit useless yes, but still gives the impression of high-end luxury. The little silver compacts are weighty, and have the classic Burberry plaid printed right on top.

I chose Pale Barley (left) and Porcelain (right)
Pale Barley is a golden bronze with slight hints of taupe. It looks beautiful all over the lid. Porcelain is a soft peach with hints of ivory. I don't really own any warm highlight shades, so I am excited to use this to accentuate my browbones.
I stuck my grabby little fingers in almost every single shadow that was on display. The SA didn't mind one bit. All of the shadows are just so buttery and soft. They really are worth the money.
Overall I am happy with them and even want a couple more.

Now onto an update! A few weeks back, I showed this Dior concealer that I had just purchased at Sephora. I promised I would keep you posted on what I thought of it, and the verdict is in. I love it.

I got it in the color Beige and I think it matches my skin quite well. It looks a bit orange here, but that's just the flash. In real life, the color is much more muted and natural. It is incredibly creamy and needs little effort to blend and melt right into my skin. If you have really dark circles, this coverage may be too light for you. But if you just want a little boost underneath your eyes, this product is perfect. It lasts all day and doesn't crease. I find it hydrating, which you know I crave.

My concealer routine:
1) First I apply a dot of this under each eye and pat it into my skin with my ring finger.
2) Then I use my Maybelline Age Rewind Brightener by swiping a bit on top of the Dior. This is solely for brightening purposes.
3) Then I use a little powder to set everything in place for the day (or night).

I hope you found this helpful! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hi girls, happy Wednesday to you. This month (and this week really) is almost over so it's time for the monthly question I do with some of my favorite fellow bloggers. This month's question comes from Andi: "What is your favorite holiday, and why?"

This one is super easy for me. Hands-down my favorite holiday is Halloween! It's funny because I actually don't care for dressing up. I do enjoy the costumes, but I'm never creative with mine. I know friends who literally slave over their costumes, painstakingly putting together every single aspect of their "character" for the night. Me? I just wear what I've already got hanging in my closet! Or my fiance and I come up with some half-brained idea at the last minute. Either way, I think the reason I love Halloween is because of the start of Fall. The weather is usually still warm here, but the leaves are changing colors and the nights get chilly. The smell of Fall is in the air, and I love that smell! I don't know, there's just something about it. And Halloween is the catalyst.

Here I am three years ago as a sailor girl. Generic, but still cute right?!

So, what is your favorite Holiday? It can be a vacation too. I was going to write about that, but this post would have been very lengthy :)
