They are here! Stella & Dot's long anticipated line of tops called maette. It was hard to choose which one I wanted to try first, but I settled on the "Evie." The beautiful lace sleeves elevate it from your basic t-shirt, and I know this will become a staple in my wardrobe. Every year before the beginning of Fall, I try to refresh my little supply of basics and this is the perfect addition. I would say that the Evie runs true to size, although it is rather long on my 5'2 frame. I rolled it for a more flattering length, but it looks cute tucked in as well. I must say that I'm really impressed with the overall look and quality of the maette line so far, and I cannot wait to see what other styles make the cut.

As a stylist, I have often been asked what to pair our jewelry with. My easiest answer is everything! But you can never go wrong with a top and jeans, especially for the weekend. Speaking of which, how was yours? Linking up with Caryl and Rachelle

New packaging in shades of blush and rose gold. Perfect for gifts!

As a Stella & Dot stylist, I'm always ecstatic when a new collection arrives. Fall is hands-down the best time to shop, isn't it? I love jewel tones, cozy knits, and layering. Unfortunately, SoCal doesn't really get to experience all that the season has to offer so while everyone wears their ankle boots and cardigans, I reach for jewelry to make my wardrobe look more updated.

This has to be my favorite collection since I became a stylist! It took me a few days to narrow down a list, and yet I still have my eye on a few things I didn't order at the jump. There are so many great basics that fit nicely in my collection, but there are also fun trendy items I know you will love.

Trends for Fall include: mixing metals, rose gold, natural stones, shades of olive, blush, burgundy, and blue, as well as a whimsical theme. There is something for everyone, whether you like being bold or prefer delicate pieces that can be worn on a daily basis.

I used to sample a little of everything when I first started out, but now I only buy what suits my personal style. Here are my picks from the Fall 2017 collection:

You know I love cobalt and druzy so this was immediately added to my cart. It's even more vibrant in person, and I plan on layering it with some of my other gold bracelets, If you live in neutrals, an ocean blue like this is a great way to introduce some color.

My new daily necklace, the pave Arabesque.
I love silver and this is an effortless way to update my collection.

The brier ring comes in different sizes. It has so much shine with the apricot colored stones

This is a must-have, and if there's one piece I highly recommend, it's a bangle that you can engrave with whatever you choose. Your kids' names, wedding date, birthday, or a special saying that serves as a reminder every time you glance down at your arm. They come in yellow gold, silver, and rose gold.

As an aside, mine say "Never let your fears decide your fate" and "Show love with no remorse". Both are song lyrics that have resonated with me for somewhat obvious reasons. I hope you'll keep these in mind if you're ever in the market for a thoughtful gift! With fast fashion becoming the norm in an age of social media and selfies, I love personal jewelry that is unique to YOU.

Also, I want to mention some exciting news - beginning this Friday, we will be offering a dose of fashion to go along with your jewels. That's right, tops! Tops and tees that I cannot wait to get my hands on. It's a natural progression since people often ask what the models are wearing in the lookbooks.

If you're interested in any of these, send me an email or shop my online boutique here. There is lot to choose from!

I've been a Stella & Dot stylist for a year now. I joined because at the time, I really (and I mean really) needed an outlet from my job, and I wanted to try my hand at something completely different and outside of my comfort zone. I was encouraged by a fellow stylist, and after some serious convincing on her part, I decided to give it a shot. What's the worst that could happen right? If anything, I could at least get a discount on some gorgeous jewels of my own. And we all know that I love my jewelry.

So when I received my starter kit, I didn't even open the box for a few weeks, maybe even a month. The package was so damn heavy and for whatever reason, it scared me. If you can't tell, I'm not a natural salesperson. I don't like it when other people push me to buy, so I don't ever want to feel like I'm pressuring others to buy from me. The thing is, I believe in these products. I own countless pieces in my collection now, more than any other line from brands I admire. And I appreciate the quality, craftsmanship, and thought that our New York and San Francisco designers put into each piece. I often go out to the mall and spot replicas of our bracelets and necklaces. I feel partly flattered, and partly annoyed but I guess that rant is for a different day!

My favorites - Sparkle studs (only $19), Celestial ring, Maylee ring (sold two at my show), and the Luxe coil bracelet (out of stock at the moment)

The showstopper - Jolie sparkle chain necklace

This past year, I feel like I've barely dipped my toe in the S&D pond. I've promoted it a little here and there, especially on Instagram. I've let most of my friends and family know that I'm selling, and I have had some luck online. But the real bread and butter of this company comes from doing trunk shows, and I was terrified of them. Wait, you mean I have to stand up in front of people and talk? And sell? Uh, no thanks! But the more I got into it, the more I finally did my research. I decided that if I want to be successful at anything in life, I have to be okay with being uncomfortable. So I asked one of my best girls if I could have my first show at her house last Saturday, and I must say...it was so much fun!

It was a small group of us, which I was thankful for! That way I could practice and not feel like a ton of eyes were being placed on me. The theme was really simple: holiday of course, and with black, white, and gold being the main colors and a beautiful pop of red from a poinsettia plant. We had light appetizers and some wine, and then got into it and played with the jewelry I brought. The thing about selling is that if you actually are selling something you genuinely love and buy yourself, it's much easier to sell to others and that passion really comes across. At least, I hope that's what the ladies would say!

Overall it was a great first show and I plan on doing two more next month! I'm honestly proud of myself because all of last week, I was nervous and certain I would fail - whatever that means! I did it, and my confidence has raised a few degrees because of it.

For those of you that ever want to order through me, I would love to help you! We have so many amazing pieces in our collection for the holidays, and because shipping is so fast, there's still time. Stelladot.com/noelleengel 💋😉

I have been so touched by the comments, emails, and private messages that I have received over the past week. I can't remember the last time I felt so loved...simply for being born! So I want to do a little something special to express my gratitude and appreciation. I haven't done a giveaway on my own in quite some time, so here is my opportunity! It'll be the perfect way to update your wardrobe.

Use Noelle Engel as your stylist!

Cheeky little title. Every single time I put on a pair of boots, that song immediately comes to mind! Anyway, I really want to thank you ladies (and gentleman) for all of the feedback I received on my body image post last week. I was truly touched by your comments and own experiences, and I even got text messages from my best friends and mother on the subject! I don't think they read here often, but when they do, it means a lot to me. I wasn't sure what sort of response I would get, and I was humbled. Writing honestly has and always will be at the core of why enjoy blogging, and so I've decided to do posts like that more frequently. At least, when I get the itch to say something more relevant than simply describing what I'm wearing.

That being said, I do want to mention that these booties are my new favorite. I asked both Gina and Caryl for advice on them because I wasn't sure if I should get these or a black pair. They both chimed in that taupe was the way to go, and I'm so happy that I went with these. They are definitely versatile! I love how they blend into my legs and give the illusion of longer gams. If you don't have a pair of booties, I highly recommend a style like these. They don't come up as high on the ankle, so they don't cut off the leg line as much as other booties I've seen. These do come in other colors, and all of them are beautiful but I know that with Spring around the corner, these will transition seamlessly.

Happy Friday everyone! More importantly, Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you enjoy it no matter what plans you have - a fun dinner out, a romantic night in, or a celebration with girlfriends. Whether you are married, dating, or single...Do whatever makes you feel good today :)

In honor of V-Day, my favorite Stella & Dot stylist Ashley Vella and I have teamed up and are doing a giveaway on Instagram! I've never done one through social media before, but we wanted to give our followers a chance to win my newest obsession - the milana tassel bracelet! I've been literally wearing it non-stop since purchasing it. Now's your chance to become as obsessed with one.

It's such a chic piece, whether layered or on its own. It's actually three different mixed metal stretch bracelets, with one having a removable tassel.

Visit my Instagram as well as Ashley's for the rules, and your chance to win!

On another more personal note, I want to wish the hubs a happy Valentine's day. More than I ever imagined, thank you for everything you do, are, and have given me Nate. You are my greatest gift.

I love you guys, have a great weekend :)

If you're a regular reader of my blog, then you know how much I love jewelry. Accessories are my favorite part of getting dressed, whether it be for work, running errands, or going out for dinner and drinks.

When my Stella & Dot stylist contacted me about hosting an online trunk show, I was beyond thrilled! I definitely have a few pieces in mind for Fall, and this is a great opportunity to add some new things to my little collection.
