I received so many sweet comments last week about my love bangle that I started to realize just how popular it is these days. Everywhere I go, I see this type of inscription. I even purchased this little necklace at Target:

It isn't sold online, but if you enter your zip code, the search will bring up availability in your local store.

Other pretty options here, here, and the look for less!

Now I can't find the bangle that I own. I purchased two for myself and also one for my friend last year at Forever 21. But, there are so many great options!

Love this! Etsy

I think the trend started with Sydney Evan:

Nothing can compare to the real thing, but it's always nice to find alternatives that don't cost much.

Delicate and dainty. Perfect for days where you don't want to look too overdone or fussy, or perfect to mix in with larger statement pieces. And who doesn't love...love?

"Fashion is nothing without accessories." I used to have that quote framed and hanging on my wall for good reason. I go crazy at the mere site of handbags, scarves, and especially jewelry. As much as I try to stay away from the sparkling treasures displayed under glass at J.Crew, or the racks upon racks of colorful bits at Forever 21, I always seem to wander over to the jewelry department. "How did I get here?" is what I end up thinking to myself as I walk away with yet another chunky necklace or pair of simple studs.

In an effort to try and reel myself back from buying more and more, I decided to instead appreciate the stand-out pieces already in my possession. I do have some clear favorites that I wear over and over. I know you've seen these at some point, so no real surprises I'm sure.

Rings

Necklaces

Bracelets & Earrings

They cross the spectrum from higher end (Chanel, YSL) to mid (Sonya Renee, J.Crew) to cheaper alternatives (Forever 21, H&M). I'm no snob! When it comes to jewelry, I love it all!

Of course, I will keep adding to my favorites. Bracelets are my new obsession this season, and I want to add more for layering purposes. But, I will be more discerning on future shopping trips. I think quality over quanitity wins out.

What are your favorite jewelry pieces? What are you looking to add to your own collection?

An obligatory shopping post. It doesn't get much deeper than that! I placed an order on ASOS a couple of weeks back, went to H&M over the weekend, and used an old (I mean years old) gift card at TJ-Maxx. How I managed to save it for as long as I did, I have no idea. Luckily, everything in this post is under $60 dollars.

From ASOS:
My first time ordering, and I am super impressed!

Gorgeous natural suede envelope clutch in a cranberry maroon color. Since Lodis let me down, this was a perfect alternative. The brand is Pieces.

A shimmery pale gold dolman top. I love metallics for Winter.

The brand?

The great thing about ASOS is that they constantly update you about your package, so you're not left wondering where in the heck your order is. I will definitely order from the site again in the future.

H&M:
I saw this dress on Chloe Here, and have been looking for it ever since. Well, I finally found one! {Cue angels singing}

I've never been much of a snake print girl, you know I go more for the leopard. But the way this dress is cut? Great on petites! I just find it very flattering and bold.

TJ Maxx:
This is what happens during a work break.

Pretty Chanel inspired flats at a wonderful non-Chanel price (they were 24 dollars!)
The cap toe is like a patent leather, the cream part is suede. Love at first sight. They are also supremely comfortable.
The sparkly beaded bracelet was also super affordable, and I have been wanting one like it to wear out at night.

Will you be seeing all of these pretty things in outfits of the day? Oh yes you will ;)

Happy shopping,
♥ Noelle

Thank you to Ella for informing us that H&M has a new colorful necklace like their turquoise version, popularized by so many bloggers this Summer. The red is equally as gorgeous. I bought it last weekend and promptly wore it as soon as I got home. I think it pairs nicely with my rose cardigan, no?

I still prefer the turquoise, but since cherry red is going to be a major trend for Fall, I'm happy to have both!

They had TONS at my H&M, so visit your local store if you want to snag one too :)

In keeping with my Target theme from my Friday outfit, I decided to go to one of my favorite stores again. I had success with my last shopping trip, so I thought I would check out the dress selection. I only found one that caught my eye.

It was cute with the cascading ruffles, and I liked the overall feel of it. However, the size small was just a tiny bit too roomy in the chest area, while the extra small was too tight in the hips. I also wasn't completely sold on the print. Great for Summer, but I passed instead of purchased. I'm still thinking about it though...

Here is my comfortable "running around" outfit of the day: Coral tank - Nordstrom, Nude cardigan - H&M, Shorts - American Eagle "Boyfriend" style, Gold flip-flops - Reef, Necklace - Lisa Taubes, Ring - H&M, Nails - Chanel's Riva

So I failed in the clothing department. I browsed through the new Calypso for Target stuff, but wasn't really into anything. There were some cute tunics that would look great paired with shorts or just worn over a bathing suit. I still might go back and give it another try. I'm OCD like that ;)

However, the makeup section never ever fails me, and I found some great polishes I have been admiring from Orly. I also got another concealer palette from Sonia Kashuk and I was ecstatic because I have a difficult time finding them these days. I hope they aren't discontinuing them!

As happy as I am that it's officially May, my allergies are killing me! My eyes have been watering nonstop for the past two days and I'm constantly itchy. Is anyone else having problems with the season? My boyfriend went to the doctor for his allergies, and the doc told him this is the worst season he's ever seen. His office is flooded with people who are miserable right now.

I'm taking Claritin and calling it a day!

Dress - Tucker for Target, Blazer - Necessary Objects (Nordstrom), Quilted bag (used as clutch) - Mango, Pumps - Nine West, Jewelry - Forever 21, a local boutique, and Lisa Taubes (TheCurrentCustom.com), Nails - Chanel's Riva

I was up early this morning and watched the Royal wedding ;) It was by accident too! A bout of insomnia was the culprit. But I'm happy I couldn't sleep for once! It was amazing, I loved Kate's understated yet elegant dress. She is a class act.

Now I'm off to celebrate a friend's birthday. We are going to a comedy club inside of a casino. This is my first time wearing my Tucker for Target dress and I can't get over how comfortable it is (given that it's made of polyester). I picked it up a few weeks ago when Target re-released some of the designer items from the Go International line. I love the shrunken blazer on top for a little added warmth as well as a play on menswear.

I took these pictures with my camera phone, and I must say...not bad! I'm very pleased. I've never minded these types of shots on other blogs, as I think you can really see what the outfit looks like. That's the point, right?!
Have a great weekend!

Hey Friends!
I apologize for the lack of posts the past few days. The boyfriend and I had a very eventful weekend, one in which we both had to take a trip to the ER. An extremely sore neck, a pounding head, and an immobile arm have rendered me a bit useless. I'm typing this with one hand ;)  But alas, I'll spare the gory details and just say that I'm thankful we are both alright, that we both have health insurance, and that I've met some lovely new friends I'm extremely grateful for.

In the meantime, (while I'm recovering) I just wanted to do a quick post featuring some bags I'm loving from Aldo. You all remember my beloved Cyphert:

Here are other great bags for Spring, and all at affordable prices.

~Starliper - so cute with a little dress!

~Niesen - I'm obsessed with camel. I want!

~Moltz - Yup. I want this one too.

I'm still saving for a designer bag, but what I love about Aldo is that I don't have to feel guilty if I want to treat myself a little before then.

I hope you all are happy and healthy! That's really all that matters.

I am continually amazed at how many companies are stepping up the quality and design elements of their products. I used to have so much trouble replicating pieces in my wardrobe that would resemble a high-end brand. These days, companies realize that as savvy consumers, we don't ever want to compromise quality simply because we may not have the budget for extravagant designer goods.

I was in Aldo recently and stumbled upon this gorgeous handbag:
With it's perfectly neutral color and the pretty tassel detail, I knew it would be a great choice for Spring. The $45 dollar price tag blew me away and before I knew what was happening, I walked out of Aldo with a pretty new bag to add to my collection. I wasn't going to do it because I am saving for something special, but how can an accessories addict resist?

It reminds me of this dream bag, one in which I would have to sell all of my current posessions (including maybe my car) to attain.

Of course not exactly the same, but I still got that whole Birkin vibe from Aldo's Cyphert. What do you girls think?

I was browsing Lulus this morning when I saw this necklace: It stopped me dead in my tracks because it looks very, very similar to my House of Harlow Mini Key Necklace:

Comes in Silver and Brass. And at just $8, you seriously can't go wrong! To purchase, Clickity Click Here.

Have a Fab Weekend!

This isn't technically an outfit of the day because I wore this yesterday, not today. I'm actually sitting in my bath robe as we speak ;) Yesterday I had the day off, and I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful California weather. I have worn this exact same outfit before, about a week and a half ago, but I loved it so much I decided to do a repeat.

I am wearing: a light gray cami from Forever21, a striped tee from American Eagle, shorts from H&M, wedges from Nordstrom (Report), bag H&M, pearl necklace from Forever21, and my latest obsession: mini gold key necklace from House of Harlow (shopbop.com). Oh, and my lilac nails are China Glaze "Light as Air."

What do you girls like to wear on casual days?
