Wearing: Zara skirt (similar here and here), American Eagle sweater (similar), Aldo clutch (love this one), Nine West pumps

New Years Eve is quite possibly my favorite holiday of the year. With loads of sparkle and plenty of bubbly, it's certainly the time to celebrate life and look forward to what the future brings. Whether you're going all out with friends or spending a quiet night in, there's no reason to forgo the sequins and glitter! This year, the husband and I are going to my best friend's house for a cozy get together. I don't really have to get dressed up since we will be a small group, but that's not going to stop me from putting on something special. I was actually planning on wearing this outfit, but then I couldn't wait and wore it Saturday night to celebrate hubby's birthday in San Diego. A sequin skirt is always appropriate for a night out, New Years Eve or otherwise :)

Don't forget to check out more New Years inspiration over at More Pieces of Me and On the Daily Express.

Do you have plans for tomorrow night?

  1. You can't just *not* tell me what color is on your nails here. :) It is the perfect accent to your gold + neutrals look, and it looks like it might be one of the gel colors you acquired recently? I love how you cozy up your sequin skirt with a cable knit sweater. Gorgeous!

    1. Thanks Gina! The polish is by sephora & OPI and it's called "meet for drinks". It's a beautiful merlot color. The nails inc. polish I reviewed is similar though! That one is called "Kensington high street".

  2. That skirt fits you like it was made for you! I certainly agree that the time for sequins is basically - all the time! I agree with OTDE that your nail color is perfect against this skirt! Love it! Thanks for all your support with the Holiday Style Linkup!!
