Exaggerated

Flats are my weakness. Contrary to popular belief, not all petite girls want to wear sky high platforms. If I could snap my fingers and instantly become taller, I probably would. But these days, I am beginning to let go of old insecurities and I think I may actually like being shorter than the average.

I have many pairs of pretty ballerina flats, but when I saw these by Prada, I was stopped dead in my tracks.

Big, exaggerated bows?! Heaven!
The price tag not so much.


Last week, (before my self-induced shopping ban) I headed to Macy's with some birthday gift cards in hand. I wasn't finding much until I spotted these.



At $49 dollars, I thought the price was right. They are well padded and extremely comfortable. Same overall feel as the Prada's, I was a happy customer.



I just love the giant bows.

  2. I love flats myself, and prefer to wear them over heels. When I'm not in lecture (need heels for the extra height heh) or meeting, I'm wearing flats.

  7. wow-what a great score! Those are both adorable, and I love the less expensive option. Good for you for accepting your height. I wish I could be that secure, lol. I'm the idiot wearing wedges but then I hobble around because my ankles and knees hurt so badly- WTH is wrong with me?!? You always look great in flats.

  12. Thank you for the comments girls! I just got them last week so I'm sure they are still available at your Macy's if you are interested. They come in a beige color as well.

    No matter what shoes you wear, as long as you feel pretty, confident, and comfortable then that's all that matters.

  21. eeep! both pairs are SO freaking cute, I love them. i'm 5'1 and never really cared about being taller...totally live in comfortable yet cute flats. men love my height and i get away with things by looking sweet/small lol! besides, never have to worry about being too tall for a guy/pants/dresses/etc
